Dear colleagues and friends，
On behalf of the organizing committee of the Oriental Congress of Cardiology (OCC)， it is our privilege to welcome you all to take part in the 6th Oriental Congress of Cardiology（OCC 2012）， which will be held at Shanghai International Convention Center from May 25 to 27， 2012. The congress is organized and hosted by Shanghai Society of Cardiology， Shanghai Medical Association.
OCC 2012 promises to be innovative and creative. The scientific program will be featured on specific forums including: hypertension， heart failure， coronary heart diseases and intervention， heart rhythm， structural heart disease， atherosclerosis， pulmonary circulation， cardiovascular imaging， basic research & stem cell， thromboembolic diseases， continuing education， cardiac surgery， the prevention of cardiovascular diseases，integrated Chinese traditional and Western medicine and forum for cross-straits experts
Distinguished scientists and experts will be invited to present their original scientific works and clinicians will debate the hottest topics for day to day clinical practice. As one of the core of the OCC， the congress will also broadcast live case demonstrations on novel techniques and strategies in interventional cardiology. We believe that the OCC 2012 will bring the participants great opportunity to share and exchange their experience and learn from the experts. The congress will also provide a platform for pharmaceutical industries to exhibit their new products and to share the results of new clinical trials with health professionals.
